“Fire Emblem Warriors” has been the pipedream that fans of both Musou and Fire Emblem games have wanted for years. With Koei Tecmo game polls and fan UI mockups being posted on the internet for years, seeing the announcement at the Nintendo Switch conference earlier this year was a dream come true for so many people. Since then we’ve learned information about the game that has become very divisive among fans. Does this game live up the expectations of both sets of fans? Or does it fall to being overly ambitious like so many other games today? Today we take a look.
Megadimension Neptunia VIIR Heading Westward Spring 2018
This afternoon Idea Factory International has announced that Megadimension Neptunia VIIR will be making its way to the west in Spring of 2018.
Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is an enhanced remake of Megadimension Neptunia VII that includes additional scenarios and some interesting VR support. You can check out the details here:

It’s that time of the year again – horror games are releasing and this year brings us Yomawari: Midnight Shadows. Yomawari Midnight Shadows is the sequel to Yomawari: Night Alone. This time, the game features dual protagonists: Haru and Yui and it’s in a new town. Haru and Yui go to a mountain to view the fireworks. On their descent from the mountain they get separated, with the main story of the game getting them back together.
Shin Megami Tensei V Announced Exclusively for Nintendo Switch
This morning, Atlus has confirmed that their Shin Megami Tensei HD project is none other than Shin Megami Tensei V. Shin Megami Tensei V will be launching exclusively for the Nintendo Switch sometime in the foreseeable future. In the mean time, you can check out the trailer for this game here:

Cyberdimension Neptunia 4 Goddesses Online is the latest spin off in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. Wow, I feel like I say that sentence a lot when reviewing these games. This game marks the first spin off Neptunia game on the PlayStation 4 over the PlayStation Vita, and for good reason to. This is also the first game in the series to make use of Unreal Engine 4.The amount of detail in the visuals shows. So how does this spin off hold up to the other ones?
Story of Seasons A Tale of Two Towns+ Announced for 3DS
It seems like we have a bit to go in the wait for the release of the new Story of Seasons for the Nintendo Switch. In the mean time, Marvelous has announced that a remake of sorts of 2010’s Harvest Moon A Tale of Two Towns. This game will include much needed improvements to gameplay and add Street Pass functionality. Story of Seasons
A Tale of Two Towns+ will launch in Japan on December 14th, 2017. As this game was just announced, there is no word on localization by XSEED. We probably won’t hear any news on this games localization until after the release of Story of Seasons Trio of Towns massive DLC packs. However we will keep you all up to date as more news breaks on this game!
Harvest Moon underwent a name change to Story of Seasons after Marvelous acquired XSEED games and began localizing the series under the Story of Seasons name due to the Harvest Moon trade mark belonging to Natsume.

While Summer is over, you can keep it going forever in Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash. The titular series takes us to the pool this time around for some crazy ninja water gun fights. But wait, melee attacks and ninja arts are more or less banned, so how does this play out? By being a third person shooter of course. That said, we’re going into complete uncharted territory here since the franchise is known for being a brawler/musou-esque gameplay design depending on which game it is. Not only that, but this game is also the series’s 5th year anniversary game go figure.

It’s time. A new Danganronpa has arrived. This isn’t like Ultra Despair Girls where it became a 3D puzzle shooter/action game hybrid. But instead, we’re going back to the traditional scenario of 16 high school kids with ultimate abilities trapped in an unfamiliar environment killing each other while you have to figure out who killed who. Don’t worry though, if you’re new to the series, this is a meant to be a new starting point so knowledge of the previous entries aren’t needed. Also, please know that is not to be confused with Danganronpa 3 which is the ending to the previous Danganronpa games.
Gal*Gun 2 is Headed to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch this Winter
A bit of a surprise ahead of the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, Gal*Gun 2 will be headed to the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch.
Now, with the fourth “Gal*Gun” title, Inti Creates decided it’s finally time to make the leap to “Gal*Gun 2″! With the same silly and irreverent style, but new characters and mechanics, “Gal*Gun 2″ represents a big step forward for the series. Big enough for a number, even!
“Gal*Gun 2″ will be available this winter on the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch platforms! More details about the game will be revealed as time goes on, so stay tuned!
With the massive success of the last Gal*Gun on PlayStation 4 and PC, it is not surprising that this game is getting a sequel. However it is surprising to see it hit Nintendo Switch. It’ll be interesting to see if this game will make use of the Nintendo Switches, unique features. You can check out all of the information so far about this game by checking out the developers website here. Currently there is no word on a US Release, but the fact that this was posted on the developers english website can give some hope for fans of the series that it will make it’s way stateside.

Pokken Tournament is a Pokemon fighting game developed by the talent behind the Tekken series, originally made for Wii U and Arcades. Instead of just making a Tekken game with a roster entirely made up of Pokemon, the developers decided to go a different route by combining 2D and 3D gameplay. Pokken Tournament DX sports new content, and a few quality of life changes to make the experience much better, but how much better is it overall?
