This morning in a twitter video CAPCOM has announced that Monster Hunter World will be heading to PC this Autumn. The reason for such the large gap in releases is due to the developers wanting to optimize the game for the PC release. Honestly I will take a delayed version on the PC if it means that the game will be optimize properly and run better right at launch. Also in the announcement video, CAPCOM announced that they will be rolling out free updates for Monster Hunter World after the January 26th release, so be on the lookout for that if you’re picking up the game on console!

They then separated the realms with the Great Barrier, which thrust the world into a sea of chaos. The barrier caused the Dark Current, an ocean current that submerged most major cities, to wreak havoc and decimate humanity. All hope was lost, and all remaining humans had to bend the knee to their new Daemon kings. Hundreds of years later, the world is about to change again… There are whispers of resistance, and now the time is ripe to bring it to a roar. Can you fan the flames of rebellion and lead mankind to victory?
